Meet the Staff
Beverly A. Stone, Owner/Director
Mrs. Stone is a native Detroiter and a product of the Detroit Public School system. She began her gymnastics training in public school at the age of five, and over the years, took part in many state competitions in dance and gymnastics. She began ballet, tap, and jazz training at the age of nine with various schools. While at Cass Tech, she was a part of their Performing Arts Department and captain of the cheer team. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a major in Physical Education and a minor in Theater with a dance emphasis. Beverly has been teaching dance for more than thirty years and director of MBS Training Center for twenty six years. Sabrina Breedlove, Assistant Director
Mrs. Breedlove has been dancing for more than twenty five years. She took her training from Toni Lewis at Oakland University. She has taught for Toni's School of Dance, choreographed and danced for the Detroit Piston Classy Chassis and also for the Detroit Spirit Dancers. Mrs. Breedlove has been teaching at MBS Training Center for over 15 years. Jennifer Barnes
A former MBS dancer, a cheerleader and an honors graduate of Renaissance High School in Detroit, Ms. Barnes danced with MBS for more than 10 years dancing lead roles in a number of successful productions. She taught two summers with the Peddy players and is currently a senior and an honors student at the University of Michigan majoring in Elementary Education. Ms. Barnes has performed in two U of M Campus dance productions thus far. Debra Cherveny
Debra studied at Taynton's School of Ballet, the Lascu School of Ballet, the Institute of Music & Dance Theater of Harlem. Presently, she is attending Marygrove College seeking a B.F.A. in dance. Debra has been in several Michigan Opera Theatre productions. Over the last several years, she has danced in the Nutcracker, performed with the Actor's Alliance Theatre, toured with Aretha Franklin and taught at the Don Basco Hall. She has also participated in the Upward Bound Program at Oakland University. Jacqueline Weir
